Featured Game - Cabela's Dangerous Adventures (Wii)

Title: Cabela's Dangerous Adventures
Console: Nintendo Wii

Hard to get hold of in this format, this is the classic hunting title by specialists Cabela. Take on some of the world's most dangerous animals in your living room. Experience stalking and shooting some of the more endagered species - without the ethical issues of actually hunting them.

One advantage of the Wii is that there is no need to buy a seperate light gun controller. Several companies do attachments that turn the wii-mote and nunchuck into a passable light gun, ranging fom the cheap and cheerful to tripod mounted rifles with laser sights.

Featured Game - Lego Star Wars (Wii)

Title: Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Wii)
Console: Nintendo Wii

Currently our all-time best-seller*, and with good reason. Combining lego, and who doesn't like building blocks, with one of the most successful movie franchises of all time. The complete adventures features the original and prequel trilogies in a reworking of the original Lego titles.

Also available on the PS3 (see here), it seems to be more popular on the Wii, perhaps for the innovative control system.

*For anyone interested, its competition is Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem on the Gamecube, and Dark Chronicle on the PS2.

Featured Game - Endless Ocean

Title: Endless Ocean
Console: Nintendo Wii

After the success of Everblue and its sequel, Arika's launch title for the Wii followed the same theme. Fortunately it also followed the level of quality, offering something different, details and with graphics and a soundtrack to die for.

With Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep (Wii) soon to be released in PAL, now is definitely the time to look out this first title and replay it, just to set the mood.

Back online

The Ragged Angel Blog is back online, as we plan quite a few changes this year.

After the snow things are getting back to normal. We were unable to access our books storage due to the weather, and now that we can get back in some of the books did not survive the damp. Currently we are going through sorting out which ones are salvageable.

The CandyPress store is gone for good, and we are switching to OSCommerce. Through the use of datafeeds this will enable us to sell our products through several new portals and storefronts, while reducing the amount of work, so we are really excited about the possibilities this offers. It will take a bit of custom work, but ecommerce consulting is our business so it's nothing unusual.

And as some customers may have noticed we are now on Play.com. This was a test venture over christmas, but it has been very successful and we will be expanding our operations in the future.

Welcome to the blog!

We've decided to switch Ragged Angel's news page to a blog. This is because largely, the news page on the site has been sadly neglected. Using a blog should allow us to update when we are out and around which will hopefully make this simpler.

That said, onto the news:
We have started to get PS3 games in stock - not as cheaply as we'd like but its a start. We are looking for reliable suppliers for PS3 and Wii games.

The ebay store has gained a new category: Accessories. We are selling additions and controllers for the PS2, Gameboy and other consoles.

Our biblio store has been closed - due to the increasing demand for computer games we are examing splitting out books into a new store and different business.

After switching to a new Froogle feed, our ebay listings are now available through froogle once again. We are also planning to restore our ebid stores in the near future.
